Summary: The Corner Shop

Key dates:

In Belfast and in larger towns corner shops which sold all manner of household items were open all hours. They mainly catered for local working class families and they proved popular as they were willing to sell goods on credit. This shop was on the corner of the Grosvenor Road and McDonnell Street in Belfast.
