Summary: Sales Kiosk, Portrush Station

Key dates:

By far the greatest influence on transport in this period was the railway system. The railways gave all classes of people the opportunity to travel. This kiosk catered for holiday makers using the new station at Portrush which was opened in 1893. The left hand section was used as the ticket office for the Giant’s Causeway Tram and the main part as a sales point for newspapers, postcards and confectionery.
