Summary: Barn Church

Key dates:

While many new churches were built in the late 19th century, a number survived in their original form from the 17th century. A good example was this small barn church between Upper and Lower Ballinderry in County Antrim. The photograph was taken in 1893. Access to the gallery was via the steps which can be seen to the right on the outside of the building.
