Summary: City Hall, Belfast

Key dates:

Completed in 1906 by the local building firm of McLaughlin & Harvey, the City Hall quickly became the city’s main landmark. Built using Portland stone and Italian marble, the City Hall was intended by the Belfast Corporation to reflect the city’s economic prosperity.
