Summary: Albert Watch Chain

Key dates:

Gentlemen usually had pocket watches which they kept in a small waistcoat pocket. A decorative Albert watch chain was commonly attached to the watch at one end, while on the other the chain had a T-bar which was inserted in a button-hole of the waistcoat.
