Much of the Titanic’s interior resembled a luxury hotel. The grand staircase in the first class section was a testament to the craftsmanship of the men who worked on the ship. Light came through a glass dome to highlight the polished oak pillars and the wrought iron balustrades. The decorated clock can also be seen in the photograph.
