Summary: Country School
Key dates:
This country school was built in 1852 and finally closed in 1974. In one side of the school boys were taught separately. A residence for the school master occupied the middle with the girls’ classroom on the other side. In 1907 the boys’ and girls’ school was amalgamated and classes were then split by age.
